Crooks are celebrating

-

Bronx: Now with the Daily News firing half of its editorial staff under new management, it’s a great time to be a corrupt politician or, sadly, a crooked anybody. The News had our back; it was the real eyes and ears of the city, breaking stories beneath the purview of the august New York Times. No way New York’s hometown paper can do an adequate journalistic job with a skeleton crew. Now we are left with nothing but a few soundbites from cable TV and the vacuous Post. Norm Zamcheck
