Prez kin offered hush job

- BY CHRIS SOMMERFELDT

President Trump's daughter-inlaw offered Omarosa Manigault Newman a well-paying job with Trump's reelection campaign on the condition she wouldn't disclose any derogatory information she'd come across during her time in the White House, according to a secretly recorded phone call released Thursday.

Lara Trump, wife of the President's son Eric, called Manigault Newman just days after she was fired from the White House and offered her the $15,000-a-month campaign gig.

The phone call, which Manigault Newman shared a tape of with MSNBC, corroborates portions of her newly released book, “Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House,” which paints the President as a mentally ill racist who's been caught on tape using the N-word.

On the call, Lara Trump referenced a news article intimating Manigault Newman was sitting on info that could prove harmful to the President. “It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you've got in the back pocket to pull out,” Trump says. “Clearly, if you come on board the campaign, like, we can't have, we got to.” Manigault Newman cuts her off, “Oh, God no.”

“Everything, everybody, positive, right?” Trump adds.

After playing the tape, Manigault Newman told host Craig Melvin that it shows “an attempt to buy my silence, to censor me, and to pay me off.”
