- BY TREVOR KAPP AND ESHA RAY

A motorcyclist speeding through Midtown flew through the the air after colliding with a car, leaving him critically injured, police said Sunday.

Startling surveillance video obtained by the Daily News shows a white Subaru making a left turn off 11th Ave. onto 57th St. about 11:05 p.m. on Saturday. The 29-year-old motorcyclist, speeding west on W. 57th St., slammed into the car.

The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and flew through the air, the video shows. His helmet flew off his head, cops said.

His Suzuki motorcycle ended up on the hood of the car, cracking the windshield, before crashing back down to the pavement. The impact nearly tore off the car's front bumper, leaving the vehicle a mangled wreck.

The motorcyclist was rushed to Mount Sinai West hospital in critical condition.

The 35-year-old Subaru driver remained at the scene. He was not expected to be charged.
