A Bronx man out watching a big boxing match with his buddy was stabbed to death during a postfight brawl, police and relatives said Monday.

Cops aren't sure what led to the death of Joseph Luna, 34, but his mother said he had clashed with the assailants before.

A 35-year-old man was also stabbed in the 4 a.m. Sunday melee along Westchester Ave., and two men were arrested and charged in connection with the clash.

Luna was stabbed numerous times in the upper body while his pal was knifed once in the stomach.

Both were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where Luna died.

Cops responding to the scene nabbed Frederick Strachan, 27, and Edward Binyard, y 26, authorities said Monday. They were both charged with murder and attempted murder.

Their arraignments were pending in Bronx Criminal Court on Monday.

Other suspects are still being sought in the attack, police said.

Luna's mother, Fidelina Luna, 60, said her son and a friend went to a local Applebee's to watch a closed-circuit viewing of the Gennady Golovkin-Canelo Alvarez fight Saturday night. She said they probably stopped at another bar before heading home.

The victim's sister, Daisy Reyes, 29, said Luna and his friend lived in the same apartment building.

“He had gotten into an altercation with those guys before,” Reyes said.

“When he was coming home from the fight party, he bumped into them.

“When he was in front of the building, he notified his roommate that he didn't have his keys and the guy that he had a previous altercation with was in front of the building,” Reyes said.

The sister says she doesn't know whether the men were waiting for her brother.

The roommate was already asleep and didn't see the messages until the morning, the sister said.

“I'm keeping the faith in justice, the authorities. I beg God to help me,” Reyes said. “There's nothing else we can do but to wait.”

The mother said the family is working together to raise money for Luna's funeral expenses.

“I don't know why they took my son's life,” she said.

“I hope they regret what they did and to tell the truth and to pay for what they did. That all of justice's weight falls over them because there is no reason to take a young man's life.”
