Roseanne whines: I’m gonna die
Roseanne Barr claims to know the fate of her character on “The Conners.”
The actress says the upcoming ABC series kills off her character, Roseanne Conner, to explain her absence on the show, which serves as a spinoff to the canceled “Roseanne.”
“They have her die of an opioid overdose,” Barr said on the YouTube program “Walk Away.”
“So it wasn’t enough to just do what they did to me. They had to so cruelly insult the people who loved that family and that show,” she said. “They had to cruelly insult them, and that’s what they chose to do. So there’s nothing I can do about it. It’s done. It’s over. There’s no fight left.”
ABC canceled “Roseanne” and parted ways with Barr in May after the actress posted a tweet calling former Barack Obama aide Valerie Jarrett the baby of “muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes.”
The network announced it was creating “The Conners” spinoff with the rest of the cast following the cancellation, but has not provided an official explanation for how it will address Barr’s character not being on the show.
