Report: CBS exec placed on leave
A CBS executive was suspended Wednesday amid allegations he used sexual and homophobic language and retaliated against staff who complained, nine current and former CBS staffers told CNN.
Vincent Favale, senior vice president of talent for CBS TV Studios, allegedly told a female worker “he got four erections” watching Jennifer Hudson rehearse” before a 2015 appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
Staffers said in a 2015 meeting Favale (photo) made a vulgar remark about construction outside the office.
“[Favale] compared the drill to ‘a big black d--,’” a former employee said.
“Allegations that I have ever retaliated against anyone in any fashion are 100% false,” Favale said in a statement. “These jokes attributed to me ... are being taken out of context.”
