Dirty dozen in drug bust

Twelve people, including a 70-year-old woman, have been busted as part of a Staten Island drug ring linked to at least two overdose deaths, officials said.

The operation snagged six people on felony dealing charges and six others for drug possession after search warrants were executed, DA Michael McMahon said Friday.

The six-month sting operation began in January and zeroed in on a ring of heroin dealers that operated in the Midland Beach area.

Cops recovered 634 bags of heroin as well as crack and cocaine.
