THE family of Sammy “The Bull” Gravano claims that John Gotti’s family is trying to control the content of upcoming biopic, “The Life and Death of John Gotti.” Last week Page Six reported that William DeMeo the actor playing Gravano — who famously ratted on Gotti— declined to speak with his relatives out of respect for his “friend” John Gotti Jr., who helped him land the role. Now Karen Gravano tells us the Gotti family is trying to make sure the character is a “Gotti version of Gravano.” “Obviously if he was a real actor he would research his character,” Karen told us. “It’s obvious he’s planted there to make my father look a particular way.” Karen, who starred on VH1’s “Mob Wives” and is now appearing on WE TV’s “Marriage Boot Camp,” said that while the Gottis gave extraordinary access to John Travolta — who’s playing the Dapper Don — they didn’t seem to encourage similar exposure to the other side. “They put out this story that [Travolta] was laying in John Gotti’s bed so he can really come into the character, but it’s obvious they don’t want all the actors to come into the character, because they don’t want to put out a real depiction of who my father is,” Karen said.
