Science friction as ‘Hulk’ fights ‘Flash’

- Max Jaeger

You wouldn’t like these two when they’re angry.

London’s Comic Con nearly turned into Wrestle-Mania over the weekend when TV’s “Incredible Hulk,” Lou Ferrigno, got into a fight with “Flash Gordon” film star Sam Jones.

Fans had to jump in and break the two men up.

“I don’t know if I was the real superhero, because if there was a clash of the titans, I would have got squashed,” said Darryn Clements, who stepped in to help separate the musclebound actors at the MCM London Comic Con on Sat- urday, according to the UK Sun.

“Lou was just saying, ‘You’re winding me up.’ There was a lot of fingerjabbing, and it was getting pretty nasty,” Clements said.

The 6-foot-5 Ferrigno, 65, did not comment, but the 6foot-3 Jones, 62, claimed he and his fellow sci-fi action star were trying to break up a fight between fans.

“He and I together defused it,” he told The Sun.

Either way, the two seemed to bury the hatchet. They were back on Sunday, signing autographs for fans.
