Af­ter sell­ing her long­time big-time East Side NYC home, Liza Min­nelli now lives in a high-rise Out There. Close friends hon­ored her. Pops con­duc­tor Michael Fe­in­stein, a long­time for­ever buddy, lo­cated Liza’s West Coast apart­ment for her. Joel

Grey, who per­formed and also ap­peared along­side her, was Liza’s “Cabaret” co-star.

Joel: “There was a film se­quence, and we sang duets and stan­dards from ‘West Side Story,’ ‘Ok­la­homa!,’ ‘Grease,’ ‘Cabaret,’ songs from Rodgers and Ham­mer­stein, Marvin Ham­lisch, Cy Cole­man, Jule Styne, Frank Loesser. No­body was cer­tain how she’d be, but she’s re­laxed, sounded won­der­ful, and a crowd of 10,000 loved her.”

Liza Min­nelli: At 71, she sang well and pleased ador­ing fans.
