Westergren gone south
Pandora’s Tim Westergren has relinquished his chief executive position and will also step down from his seat on the board of directors.
Westergren, who helped found the music-streaming outfit in 2000, returned as CEO about 15 months ago with Pandora struggling to match the subscribers heading to rival services like Spotify and Apple Music.
Down 35 percent for the year, Pandora shares rose by 3 cents, to $8.49, Tuesday.
