N. Korea powers up

New York Post - - NEWS - Sara Dorn

North Korea seeks “equilibrium” in military force against the US, the hermit nation’s dictator claimed Saturday.

“Our final goal is to establish the equilibrium of real force with the US and make the US rulers dare not talk about military option,” Kim Jong-un was quoted as saying by the state news agency, KCNA.

It’s unclear what Kim means when he says he seeks some kind of military parity with the US.

The US has more than 6,000 nuclear warheads. North Korea might have up to 60, including one small enough to be put on a missile, The Washington Post reported in August.
