Heartland plea
SEAN Hannity is hoping he will fare better at the box office than the major movie studios.
The Fox News star is executive-producing — i.e. financing — “Let There Be Light,” starring Kevin Sorbo as a cynical atheist who finds God after a near-death experience.
The film, directed by Sorbo and co-written by his wife, Sam Sorbo, opens Oct. 27.
“I’m probably going to lose my shirt,” Hannity said at a Police Athletic League luncheon on Tuesday attended by David Dinkins and John Catsimatidis. “I have no idea what I’m doing.”
But he believes there is a huge churchgoing audience in America’s heartland being ignored by the effete elites on both coasts.
“I’m sick and tired of Hollywood bulls - - t,” Hannity said. “How many freaking ‘Spider-Man’ movies can we see?”
