America’s woe-besity

New York Post - - NEWS -

America’s weight problem isn’t getting any better, according to new government research.

Obesity figures stayed about the same overall: About 40 percent of adults and 18.5 percent of children are dangerously fat.

Worrisome is the rate for children and teenagers, which had hovered around 17 percent for a decade.

The years ahead will show if that marks the start of a trend, said Dr. Craig Hales of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
