NFL boss’ wife outed for tweets

NFL Com­mis­sioner Roger Good­ell’s wife has been found us­ing an anony­mous Twit­ter han­dle to heap praise on her hus­band, ac­cord­ing to a re­port.

Jane Skin­ner Good­ell ad­mit­ted us­ing the ac­count @forar­gu­ment with the name “Jones smith” to put up the com­ments, The Wall Street Jour­nal re­ported.

“It was a RE­ALLY silly thing to do and done out of frus­tra­tion — and love,” shel said in a writ­ten state­ment to the Jour­nal on Thurs­day. “As a for­mer me­dia mem­ber [with Fox News], I’m al­ways both­ered when the cov­er­age doesn’t pro­vide a com­plete and ac­cu­rate pic­ture of a story.”

The ac­count tweeted 14 times from Au­gust un­til the Jour­nal outed its owner. All tweets sup­ported the com­mis­sioner.
