Elle Decor potty talk

-

ELLE Decor’s December issue has some media insiders flummoxed over a perhaps poorly timed cover line: “Why the Bathroom is the New Boardroom.” “Considering everything that’s happened with Harvey Weinstein, the cover line seems like a rather unfortunate choice,” said a pro. “The bathroom has always been the boardroom for Weinstein,” cracked an Instagram user. Weinstein has been accused by countless women of holding inappropriate meetings in hotel bathrooms in a bathrobe and even less. Lauren Holly claimed that Weinstein even went to the bathroom in front of her during a business meeting, then “turns on the shower . . . gets in the shower. He’s continually talking to me . . . washing himself.” British writer Liza Campbell claimed that Weinstein, during another business meeting, told her, “What do you say we both jump in the bath?” and added, “You can soap me.” Weinstein also was accused of aggressively pursuing Paris Hilton into the bathroom during an event in Cannes, France, in 2001.

?? ?? “I’m trying to put something positive out there,” says Jessica Chastain in Town & Country’s December-January issue. “Something to inspire girls [to] go into science, to run for office, to try to join the space program.”
