Pepsi says, ‘All rise’

-

ORLANDO, Fla. — If you can’t get enough of Aaron Judge while watching Yankees games on TV next season, just stick around for the commercials.

The Yankees’ newest superstar now has his first national endorsement gig.

Judge, who received the 2017 American League Rookie of the Year award by a unanimous vote Monday, will become “the face of Pepsi,” according to the soft-drink company. That agreement won’t preclude him from becoming the face of baseball, a ceremonial honor for which Judge put himself in the running with his brilliant season. The company didn’t disclose the terms of the agreement. “We are thrilled to welcome Aaron to the Pepsi family,” Justin Toman, senior director of sports marketing for PepsiCo, said. “He’s one of the biggest rising stars in baseball, and we’re looking forward to working together to engage baseball enthusiasts in new and unique ways next season and beyond.” —
