Bad exhibit, good point
Before Indonesia removed a museum exhibit where visitors took selfies with a Hitler figure in front of an Auschwitz image, reader James Nollet hoped the exhibit would stay despite condemnation. He writes:
“Anti-semites all over the world deny the Holocaust happened and of those who admit it happened, many deny that Hitler knew about it. They say underlings did it behind his back when he was busy running the war.
“But the Indonesian exhibit placed Hitler literally at the entrance to Auschwitz. Though he never actually was there, the museum gets the correct point across — Hitler authored the Holocaust.”
