Let her Ripa

-

She’s the bubbly ray of sunshine on morning television, but don’t cross Kelly Ripa. When Michael Strahan decided to leave as her co-host and move to “Good Morning America” without giving her a head’s up, Ripa was furious, Page Six reported. She had a “total meltdown” and called in sick the next day. “Kelly sees this as the ultimate betrayal,” one insider told us. “You work on a show for 15 years and all of a sudden you’re not even told about this seismic change?”

The bad feelings spilled over to when Ryan Seacrest took over the gig. Ripa felt betrayed again when Seacrest took an additional job hosting “American Idol,” and then she even got in the way of him being a guest on “Good Morning America”: “Ryan was scheduled to be on Wednesday’s show well in advance. Kelly threw as--t fit and told him he couldn’t do ‘GMA,’ so he pulled his appearance,” a source told Page Six. Don’t mess with a Kelly scorned.
