No immunity for terror ‘backer’

A California man charged with providing support for a terrorist group isn’t entitled to immunity, feds say.

Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab’s lawyers argued he should get immunity because he helped Syrian rebels the US has backed against the Assad regime.

But prosecutor­s said Friday that Al-Jayab was part of terrorist-linked groups, not a legitimate army.
