Newark Post - - Local News -

Police are searching for three teenagers who were caught on camera stealing items out of a backpack at Launch Trampoline Park earlier this month.

According to Newark Police spokesman Cpl. James Spadola, the theft occurred at approximately 11:24 p.m. April 9 at the trampoline park located at 200 Interchange Boulevard off Elkton Road.

Spadola said the victims – two 15-year-old boys – placed money, two iPhone 6 phones and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers worth $190 in a backpack near the storage cubbies while they were jumping from 8 p.m. to midnight. When they returned to grab their belongings, they discovered the backpack was gone.

Spadola said Launch cameras captured three black male teenagers taking the backpack into the bathroom and removing the items. The empty bag was later discovered in the bathroom.

The first suspect was wearing a black hoodie, dark sweatpants and black-andwhite sneakers. The second suspect was wearing a gray hoodie with a white undershirt underneath, khaki pants, black socks and a black and white bandana on his head. Spadola said the third suspect had on dark jeans, a red/pink-white-andblue jacket and a floral blackand-pink backpack.

Spadola said police are still trying to identify the teens and are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with additional information about this incident or the suspect should contact Pfc. William Anderson at 302-366-7100 x 3469 or William.Anderson@ CJ.State.de.us.
