Ne­wark paid trib­ute to Amer­ica’s fallen troops on Sun­day with a Memo­rial Day cer­e­mony on the Univer­sity of Delaware Green, fol­lowed by a pa­rade down Main Street. The city’s 81st Memo­rial Day pa­rade, the event drew more than 50 groups, in­clud­ing ROTC units, veter­ans or­ga­ni­za­tions, march­ing bands, Boy Scout troops and oth­ers.
