Memorial Day parade honors the fallen
Newark paid tribute to America’s fallen troops on Sunday with a Memorial Day ceremony on the University of Delaware Green, followed by a parade down Main Street. The city’s 81st Memorial Day parade, the event drew more than 50 groups, including ROTC units, veterans organizations, marching bands, Boy Scout troops and others.
