Holy Fam­ily Church hosts an­nual car­ni­val

Thou­sands of peo­ple flocked to Holy Fam­ily Church over the week­end for the 14th-an­nual Sum­mer­fest.

The car­ni­val, held on the church’s Gen­der Road prop­erty, started as a way to cel­e­brate the church’s 25th an­niver­sary and even­tu­ally grew into an an­nual event that serves as one of the church’s main fundrais­ers.

Dur­ing the five-day event, church vol­un­teers served up food and or­ga­nized en­ter­tain­ment, while the na­tion­ally tour­ing car­ni­val com­pany Wade Shows pro­vided a mid­way com­plete with rides, games and con­ces­sions.
