DUBLIN NATIONAL BANK ... As Dublin Borough prepares to celebrate its 100th anniversary in September, the News-Herald is taking a look back at the borough’s history. Each week leading up to the centennial celebration, we’ll run a historic photo of a location in Dublin you just might recognize. This week, we see the building that housed the Dublin National Bank at 111 S. Main St. The bank was organized by local merchants and borough officials and opened in November 1927. A barbershop was located in a small room on the right side of the first floor. The barber was Andy Gerhart.
