Perkasie Historical Society and Sellersville Historical Authority have teamed up to have a trolley run between the twin towns’ museums 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Perkasie Historical Society Museum at 513 W. Walnut St. in the former trolley station recently underwent a total interior renovation and restoration. An open house will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10 and 11. Doug Peters, author of “Lehigh Valley Transit in Color,” will speak about the Liberty Bell Line at 6 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at the former trolley station. Sellersville Museum, 120 E. Church St., Sellersville, will host its annual “Model Trains and Trolleys” exhibit noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10 and 11.
The museum will be filled with operating model trains and trolleys, along with model railroad memorabilia and books.
