Pen­nridge area ush­ers in hol­i­day sea­son

It may still be Novem­ber, but peo­ple across the Pen­nridge area are al­ready in the hol­i­day spirit.

While Perkasie’s tree light­ing takes place this Satur­day, Dec. 1, and Sellersville Win­ter­fest is Tues­day, Dec. 4, there have al­ready been plenty of hol­i­day events.

The Sellersville Fire De­part­ment Ladies Aux­il­iary held its Christ­mas Craft Fair Satur­day, Nov. 10, to give res­i­dents a jump-start on their hol­i­day shop­ping, while the Pearl S. Buck House in Hill­town be­gan its 34th an­nual Fes­ti­val of Trees Nov. 13, with tours avail­able through Dec. 30.

Ad­di­tion­ally, Faith Bap­tist Church in Sellersville has launched its Op­er­a­tion Christ­mas Child ef­fort to pro­vide presents to needy chil­dren across the world.
