DUI, resisting arrest
Lindsey Lee Fluck, 30, of the 500 block of Vine Street, Perkasie, faces charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and driving under the influence after a one-vehicle accident at Park Avenue and Old Bethlehem Pike in East Rockhill about 1:48 a.m. Dec. 31, Pennridge Regional Police Department said.
An officer found Fluck walking away from the accident and appearing to be intoxicated, police said. When asked about the accident, she became verbally and physi- cally combative, ripping a badge from one officer’s shirt and swinging at the other officer on the scene, police said.
When the arresting officer tried to put her in handcuffs, she bit the officer on the forearm, police said. When she was taken to Grand View Hospital for blood-alcohol content testing, she refused to be tested, then repeatedly slammed her head against the driver’s side rear window while in the police car after leaving the hospital, police said.
She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Charles Baum, Perkasie, and taken to Bucks County Correctional Facility with bail set at 10 percent of $25,000, police said.
