A 13-year-old student at Pennridge North Middle School on Fifth Street in East Rockhill was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana after school officials found a pipe and baggie containing suspected marijuana in his possession Dec. 7, 2012, Pennridge Regional Police Department said.
Lab results confirmed the substance was marijuana, after which the charges were filed in juvenile court, police said. 1995 Honda Civic was reported stolen from a parking lot at Penn Foundation on Lawn Avenue in West Rockhill, where it had been parked for a few days, Pennridge Regional Police Department said.
The car was found abandoned in Allentown Jan. 4, police said.

Investigation into the case began with an Oct. 9, 2012, report a check for more than $2,000, written on a closed checking account, was received by an automotive business in the 800 block of Route 113, police said.
Depart- enue, Lansdale, was charged with theft by deception after more than $250 of merchandise was taken directly to the returns counter without first paying and a cash return given Nov. 17, 2012, at Walmart on Route 309, Hilltown Township Police Department said. Noble Street, Souderton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, accidents involving death or personal injury, accidents involving damage to attended vehicles, failing to give information or render aid and driving without a license after officers were called for a report of a hit-and-run accident including an injury at Hilltown Plaza Shopping Center on Route 113 about 6:16 p.m. Dec. 16, 2012, Hilltown Township Police Department said.
The driver of the striking vehicle left the vehicle and fled on foot after the accident, police said. Summoned by an alert resident, officers found the driver near a business along Bethlehem Pike, police said.
