The walks are free and if you pre-register, you can borrow one of the park’s GPS units for the walk. Each walk will last about an hour. Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots and dress for the weather. Geocache walks may be cancelled due to winter weather or unsafe trail conditions.

Erika Sands, education coordinator, will take the children on an adventure through children’s books written by Pearl S. Buck. Parents and children can take part in a variety of hands-on activities and projects.

• 7KH Calvary Outdoor Expo 2013 will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113 in Hilltown.
Activities for the entire family range from seminars and displays to extreme air inflatable quad pods and a 24 foot rock wall.
This year’s new features include a virtual reality fishing simulator. Local experts will share their experiences and advice on outdoor activities. For teens, there are outdoor activities such as laser tag, an inflatable volleyball dome and microreality NASCAR racing. For children, there are animal shows, face painting, a Reel Kids casting contest, a planetarium and archery practice.
