Registration opens at 9:30 a.m. Splash time is 2 p.m., during which veteran sportscaster Michael Barkann and former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Ike Reese will kick things off. Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin will also be on site 1 to 3 p.m. to sign autographs and meet and greet plungers and spectators.
Plungers can take the plunge on their own with a minimum pledge of $50, or with a team of 10 with a $500 pledge. Participants can also register as “Too Chicken to Plunge.”
