Dur­ing the month of Au­gust, troop­ers from the Dublin sta­tion of Troop M will par­tic­i­pate in the Se­lec­tive 7UDI­fiF EQIRUFHPHQW $JDLQVW Drunk Driv­ing safety ini­tia­tive, Penn­syl­va­nia State Po­lice at Dublin said.

The S.T.E.A.D.D. cam­paign is de­signed to dis­cour­age in­tox­i­cated driv­ing through zero-tol­er­ance en­force­ment pol­icy via the use of check­points and sat­u­ra­tion rov­ing pa­trols, po­lice said. The check­point will be along a state high­way in Up­per Bucks County and will in­volve the brief ob­ser­va­tion of driv­ers for be­hav­iors nor­mally as­so­ci­ated with DUI vi­o­la­tors, po­lice said.
