Sierra Ne­vada Me­dia changes pub­lish­ing sched­ule

Sierra Ne­vada Me­dia Group has made changes to its pro­duc­tion sched­ule in North­ern Ne­vada.

Start­ing July 16, e Ne­vada Ap­peal was to move from six days to two days (Wednesday and Satur­day), e Record-Courier was to change from three days to two days ( urs­day and Satur­day), e La­hon­tan Val­ley News ad­justs from two days to one day (Wednesday mail de­liv­ery), and e Ta­hoe Tri­bune shifts from three days to one day (Friday).

“ is new sched­ule al­lows us to serve the com­mu­ni­ties we cur­rently do by print­ing ve days a week — cov­er­ing the en­tire area with the same re­sources it takes to pro­duce one daily,” the group said in a re­lease.

“Our on­line prop­er­ties, mo­bile apps, and so­cial me­dia are dy­namic and are up­dated reg­u­larly. We still love paper, and o er it for those who are at­tached to that rhythm,” said Brooke Warner, Sierra Ne­vada Me­dia Group gen­eral man­ager.
