Madi­son Press of Ohio drops print, goes all digital

e Madi­son Press of Lon­don, Ohio, is mov­ing to a digital for­mat only and will no longer pro­duce a print paper start­ing this week, the paper re­ported.

e paper an­nounced that it’s switch­ing to a weekly, paid digital pub­li­ca­tion. For the rest of July read­ers will have ac­cess to the digital pub­li­ca­tion free of charge. After that, read­ers will have to pay to see the paper.

“While you will no longer re­ceive a phys­i­cal printed news­pa­per, we re­main com­mit­ted to Lon­don and sur­round­ing Madi­son County,” said Lane Moon, pub­lisher and re­gional vice pres­i­dent for the news­pa­per’s owner, AIM Me­dia Mid­west, in the an­nounce­ment.

On July 14, the paper’s Lon­don o ces were to close. e land­lord has o ered the o ce build­ing the paper was leas­ing for rent, the paper re­ported.
