The News Me­dia Al­liance has pro­moted Danielle Col­ley to se­nior vice pres­i­dent, Strate­gic Ini­tia­tives and Coun­sel. Col­ley joined the or­ga­ni­za­tion in 2015 and has fo­cused on the in­ter­sec­tion of tech­nol­ogy and pub­lic pol­icy. She pre­vi­ously worked in the tele­com in­dus­try for over 10 years.

Day­tona Beach News-Jour­nal pub­lisher Bill Of­fill has been pro­moted to the po­si­tion of group pub­lisher for three GateHouse Me­dia news­pa­pers in Flor­ida in­clud­ing e St. Au­gus­tine Record, and the Flor­ida Times-Union in Jacksonville. For­mer Record pub­lisher Tony Ber­na­dos was named the pres­i­dent of e Au­gusta Chron­i­cle and Chron­i­cle Me­dia in May. In Jacksonville, Mark Nus­baum re­cently an­nounced his re­tire­ment as pres­i­dent and pub­lisher.

Son­dre Gravir, the CEO of mar­ket­places at Schib­sted (Nor­way), is leav­ing the com­pany. He's the lat­est in a line of high­level ex­ec­u­tives at Schib­sted to leave in the past few months, in­clud­ing sev­eral from the clas­siffied mar­ket­place arena.

Ben Ken­field has been named gen­eral man­ager of e Her­ald Jour­nal (Lo­gan, Utah), an Adams Pub­lish­ing Group news­pa­per. Ken­field suc­ceeds pub­lisher Dave Welsh.

North­west Flor­ida Daily News Pub­lisher Diane Win­nemuller an­nounced her re­tire­ment af­ter three years. She will re­main with GateHouse Me­dia on a con­trac­tual ba­sis.

James Doughton, re­gional pub­lisher of seven news­pa­pers in­clud­ing the Gainesville Sun and the Ocala Star-Ban­ner, will re­tire at the end of the year.

Ed­i­to­rial page ed­i­tor Ellen Clegg has re­tired from e Bos­ton Globe af­ter four years lead­ing the ed­i­to­rial board. Dur­ing her time with e Globe, she served as the ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor of com­mu­ni­ca­tions, as well as deputy man­ag­ing ed­i­tor and city ed­i­tor.

Her­ald-Tri­bune’s (Sara­sota, Flor­ida) Matthew Sauer will add the ti­tle of gen­eral man­ager to his ex­ist­ing du­ties as ex­ec­u­tive ed­i­tor. Sauer will con­tinue to over­see the Her­ald-Tri­bune’s news­room but will now work with the me­dia com­pany’s sea­soned team of ex­ec­u­tives to con­tinue the pa­per’s mis­sion.

Pa­trick Dorsey, the Her­ald-Tri­bune’s pub­lisher since 2012, is tak­ing over as pub­lisher at newly ac­quired GateHouse Me­dia news­pa­per the Austin Amer­i­can-States­man. Dorsey will con­tinue in his role as re­gional vice pres­i­dent of GateHouse’s Coastal Group, a ter­ri­tory that in­cludes the par­ent com­pany’s news­pa­pers in Flor­ida, Alabama and now the States­man in Texas.

Jef­frey Potts has been named se­nior as­so­ciate at Cribb, Greene & Cope.

Mike Reilly, 58, vice pres­i­dent for news at BH Me­dia, has re­signed from the Omaha World-Her­ald to re­lo­cate to Texas. Reilly worked at e World-Her­ald for the past 28 years.

Jamey Hon­ey­cutt has been named pub­lisher of ve com­mu­nity news­pa­pers in Bo­li­var, Stock­ton, Bu alo, Marsh­field and Ozark (Mis­souri). Hon­ey­cutt has rep­re­sented these news­pa­pers as ad­ver­tis­ing di­rec­tor and as­so­ciate pub­lisher since early July. Hon­ey­cutt will re­port to work Oct. 1. Dave Berry is re­tir­ing as pub­lisher of the Bo­li­var Her­ald-Free Press, e ec­tive at the end of Septem­ber.

Aaron Becher has named a new vice pres­i­dent of news­pa­per op­er­a­tions for Fo­rum Com­mu­ni­ca­tions. Becher, gen­eral man­ager of e Fo­rum of Fargo-Moor­head and West Fargo Pi­o­neer since 2012 and di­rec­tor of ad­ver­tis­ing op­er­a­tions for the com­pany in re­cent months, will now over­see pub­lish­ers at the com­pany’s more than 30 news­pa­pers in four states.

D. Lee Carl­son, pres­i­dent of PA Me­dia Group, has an­nounced her re­tire­ment e ec­tive at the end of the year. PA Me­dia Group is the par­ent com­pany of Pen­nLive and e Pa­triot-News.

Beau Camp­bell has joined Siebold Com­pany as vice pres­i­dent Mid­west sales. Camp­bell has suc­cess­fully com­pleted hun­dreds of press in­stal­la­tions, press ad­di­tions, press up­grades and press sales world­wide. He also serves on the ING board and is ac­tively in­volved with sev­eral news­pa­per as­so­ci­a­tions, in­clud­ing SNPA and the In­land Press As­so­ci­a­tion.

Post­media Net­work Canada has an­nounced that David Pecker has re­signed his seat from the boards of Post­media Net­work Canada and Post­media Net­work.

Andy Fisher has been named the new top busi­ness ex­ec­u­tive for the Mil­wau­kee Jour­nal Sentinel and USA To­day Net­workWis­con­sin. Fisher, who most re­cently was an ex­ec­u­tive with the Dal­las-based busi­ness soft­ware and mar­ket­ing rm DexYP, started as Gan­nett’s vice pres­i­dent of sales for Wis­con­sin on Mon­day.
