The Man­hat­tan is to whisky what the Mar­tini is to gin. Now, take this very Amer­i­can cock­tail and add an Eastern twist. Kavalan’s Dis­tillery Se­lect is a sin­gle malt straight out of Tai­wan that ef­fort­lessly adds an ex­otic smooth­ness and notes of sub­trop­i­cal fruit­ness to re­de­fine this iconic drink.

Dis­tillery Se­lect is Kavalan’s first new global launch in two years and is about to hit the bars of Amer­ica and Europe. With a pleas­ing el­e­gance and an even more pleas­ing price, this whisky is set to open up the mar­ket. Master Blender Ian Chang has cre­ated the purest and creami­est of whiskies to sat­isfy both the beginner drinker and the whisky con­nois­seur.

Kavalan Dis­tillery has been pi­o­neer­ing the art of sin­gle malt whisky in Tai­wan since 2005. Tak­ing the old name for Yi­lan County where it is based, Kavalan has ded­i­cated it­self to a time-hon­oured craft in Tai­wan’s moun­tain­ous north­east.
