Police charge caregiver with theft

Diane WitynskiI 55I is accused of taking jewelry and money from the rooms of four residents at blm Terrace Gardens on separate occasions in late guly and early AugustI police said.
According to a police reportI A80 in cash was stolen from one residentI and the jewelry taken from three other residents was worth A5IP80 altogether.
An investigation of the employee schedule allegedly revealed that WitynskiI who had been employed at the iansdale retirement community since guneI was the only employee on duty on all four dates when the thefts occurred. iansdale detectives also checked jewelry stores and pawn shops for the stolen jewelry and police said the investigation showed that Witynski had been selling MHwHlry WR D HDWfiHlG TRwnship jeweler.
She is charged with four counts each of theft by un- lawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property.
