C.A.R. provides opportunities for a child to develop a love of, and a respect for, our country. The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, founded in 1895, is the oldest patriotic organization for youths in our county. Membership is open to all children who are descendants of patriots of the American Revolution. Let your child see history come alive through the eyes of their Revolutionary War Ancestor. AMBrCS (American Business Clubs) is a national non-profit charitable association with a mission dedicated to creating independence for those with physical disabilities. The members of the Upper Gwynedd Chapter are involved in many projects within our community, including providing AmTrykes, therapeutic tricycles specially tailored to the needs of children with disabilities, the construction of wheelchair ramps, and the design and construction of a local playground. Members participate in Special Olympics activities and have donated many other gifts to families and organizations supporting children with special needs.
