St. John’s UCC Lansdale will host its ninth annual Alternative Gift Market Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At this festive holiday bazaar, shoppers can match everyone on their list with a meaningful charity to support in their honor. Donations are tax-deductible and 100% of the money goes to the charity of your choice. The event is open to all. The Women’s Christian Fellowship group at Central Schwenkfelder Church will be hosting a jewelry sale Nov. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Central Community Center, 2067 Steelman Road, Lansdale (adjacent to the church). A Gingerbread Tea will be held Dec. 2 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Spirit, Sumneytown Pike and Barndt Road, Harleysville.
