St. John’s UCC Lans­dale will host its ninth an­nual Al­ter­na­tive Gift Mar­ket Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At this fes­tive hol­i­day bazaar, shop­pers can match ev­ery­one on their list with a mean­ing­ful char­ity to sup­port in their honor. Do­na­tions are tax-de­ductible and 100% of the money goes to the char­ity of your choice. The event is open to all. The Women’s Chris­tian Fel­low­ship group at Cen­tral Sch­wenk­felder Church will be host­ing a jew­elry sale Nov. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cen­tral Community Cen­ter, 2067 Steel­man Road, Lans­dale (ad­ja­cent to the church). A Gin­ger­bread Tea will be held Dec. 2 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Spirit, Sum­ney­town Pike and Barndt Road, Har­leysville. There will be a va­ri­ety of teas, tea sand­wiches and desserts, along with hol­i­day mu­sic and en­ter­tain­ment. Child care will be made avail­able. • The Thrift Shop at St. Peter’s is open for busi­ness. Store hours are Wed­nes­days from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Satur­days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shop is lo­cated at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 211 S. Main St., North Wales. Do­na­tions of small house­hold items, books, linens and women’s and chil­dren’s cloth­ing are ac­cepted dur­ing store hours. All pro­ceeds are do­nated to lo­cal char­i­ties.
