The 2012 Lansdale Holiday Tree was installed in Railroad Plaza by Lansdale Borough employees Monday. Donated by Lansdale resident Randall Rosenberg, the 25foot tree was cut from Rosenberg’s property at Edgemont Avenue and Poplar Street and then trucked to Railroad Plaza at West Main and Wood streets. The official tree lighting will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in a ceremony that features the arrival of Santa Claus on a fire truck. The honors will be done by Little Miss Lansdale, accompanied by Santa and Mrs. Claus and Borough Mayor Andy Szekely.
