Man admits to exposing himself to women, teens in Lansdale

Gerald F. Boyce Jr., 41, of the 600 block of Wissahickon $Yenue, SleDGeG JuLlWy Ln Montgomery County Court Wednesday to multiple misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure in connection with incidents that occurred between June 2011 and May 2012 DW YDrLouV loFDWLonV in Lansdale, including the Lansdale Train Station on West Main Street.
Judge Garrett D. Page accepted the guilty plea and will sentence Boyce at a later date. Boyce remains free on $100,000 cash bail, which he posted through a bail bonding company, while awaiting sentencing.
Boyce, a father of one child, faces a potential maximum sentence of nine-anda-half to 19 years in prison on the charges. Sentencing guidelines also would allow for a minimum sentence ranging between probation and one year in jail.

“It’s absolutely disgusting DnG oIIenVLYe WhDW FhLlGren and adults coming home from school and work can be getting off of the train or walking home from school DnG FDn Ee YLFWLPLzeG Ln WhDW manner,” Colgan said.
Defense lawyer Christopher Perry indicated he will argue for leniency on behalf of Boyce, pointing out state sentencing guidelines would allow for a probationary sentence. Perry told the judge that Boyce sought treatment with a psychologist after his arrest and Perry hopes the doctor can testify on Boyce’s behalf at the sentencing hearing.

Court documents indicate Boyce exposed himself numerous times in the borough since June 2011.
With the most serious charges, authorities alleged Boyce exposed himself to four 15-year-old girls June 25, 2011, in the 100 block of East Main Street “and began to openly masturbate while smiling at them,” according Wo Whe DrreVW DIfiGDYLW fileG Ey LDnVGDle SolLFe 2IfiFer Adrienne Duffy.
Boyce engaged in similar conduct Jan. 8, 2012, in the area of West Fourth Street DnG CDnnon $Yenue Ln YLew of two 15-year-old girls, court documents indicate.
Two days later, an adult female reported to police she VDw D PDn, lDWer LGenWLfieG as Boyce, “with his pants down, shirt up, masturbating in the rear lot of the train station,” according to the arrest DIfiGDYLW. BoyFe enJDJeG Ln VLPLlDr FonGuFW Ln YLew oI another adult female at the train station Feb. 6, police alleged.
Two 16-year-old girls reported April 20 to police that a man, later determined to be Boyce, exposed himself and engaged Ln D lewG DFW Ln WheLr YLew as they walked through the rear lot of the train station, court papers alleged.
