with 18 points, pulled down eight rebounds, and was named to the all-tournament team. Senior Austin Murphy added 10 points in the loss. The seniors are never going to settle for second place. Their leadership has been a blessing for Chimera, wKo LV Ln KLV firVW yHDr DV head coach.

“What has been

great about coming in is all of the seniors are leaders,” Chimera said. “John, Austin, Dan (O’Hara), are all leaders. They have bought in. These guys want to win.”

While the senior Indians exhibit leadership qualities, the actual varsity playing experience is not there. The Indians graduated four starters from their state qualifying squad last season. So while a few bumps in the road are expected, with a new coach and a player in new roles, the JrouS KDV FonfiGHnFH WKHrH will be other tournaments along the way to win.

“This is a game at the end of the year we will win,” Chimera said. “And we hope to win other tournaments.”
