The Christopher Dock boys basketball team rallied from 15 points down to defeat rpper merkiomen 44-43 Thursday night in WKH fiUsW URunG RI WKH CKULstopher Dock Holiday Tournament.

Center Najee Miller was a major force inside for Dock, scoring a team-high 12 points.

With just 4.6 seconds to go, Dock’s Sean Hinson stole an inbounds pass and then dished it to Miller, who was then fouled on his way to the hoop.

With just three tenths of a second to play in regulation and the score tied 4343, Miller had a chance to win it.

“My heart was beating fast,” Miller said, smil- ing.

The big guy came through for the mioneers ( 3- 2), hitting his first shot to put Dock ahead 4443, and after rpper merk grabbed the rebound on Miller’s second foul shot, the Indians called time out and had maybe just enough time for a desperation heave. However, the ensuing inbounds pass was knocked out of bounds by Dock’s Azariah marmer as time ran out.

Chandler Junk scored a game-high 1T points for rpper merk, including a threepointer that put the Indians (2-6) ahead 31-16 in the third, but Dock would control play for most of the second half.
