Solve the Mystery
North Penn Life has partnered with the Lansdale Historical Society to bring our readers the Memories/Mystery feature. Each week, a new photo, contributed by the Lansdale Historical Society, will appear in the paper. For more information about the historical society, call 215-855-1872, email email@example.com or visit www.lansdalehistory.org.
Look both ways before you cross the street. If you think you know the location pictured, including the road the children are crossing, call 215-542-0200 ext. 149. Please leave guesses on voicemail if no one answers, and spell your first and last names. You may also email your guesses to gfry@montgomerynews. com.
We received plenty of correct answers this week. David Caracausa, Bruce Keyser, Gail Scott, Randy Spaide, Jennie Sperling and William Zoll all identified this as the restaurant at the Hotel Tremont in Lansdale. The building was demolished in 1997 to make way for a Rite-Aid drug store. We thank everyone for their guesses.
