All about Art!
The annual Arts Day competition was held Feb. 15 at Christopher Dock Mennonite High School.
The students’ skits, musical performances, artwork, writing and cooking entries all shared
the theme “The Five Senses.” Student interpretations of the theme ranged from a large sculpture by the junior class of a hand representing “The Hand of God, Shaping Our Senses,” to a comical take on “The Three Blind Mice” performed on stage by students. The sense of taste was expressed by skillfully prepared and presented desserts and examples of baking artfully displayed in an exhibit area adjacent to the cafeteria.
