Man accused of sexual assault heads to trial
A 3S-year-old iansdale man wanted by police on suspicion of drug dealing turned himself in to authorities at iansdale police headquarters May 2.
Police said that Frank Raphiek Cristea, for whom an arrest warrant was issued more than a week ago — after a search warrant at his iansdale apartment April 19 allegedly turned up cocaine, marijuana, PCP and other drugs, as well as scales, packaging bags and A1,4S0 in cash — was arraigned before District Judge Harold Borek, of iansdale, who set bail at A50,000.
Cristea, of the 500 block of West bighth Street, was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, four counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
After failing to post bail, Cristea was transported to Montgomery County Correctional Facility May 2.
A preliminary hearing before Borek was scheduled for May 10.
