Washington Regional Pharmacist Named Clinician of the Year

Jessica Schnur, a clinical pharmacist at Washington Regional Medical Center, was named Clinician of the Year by the Arkansas Associatio­n of Health-System Pharmacist­s. This award recognizes the accomplish­ments of a pharmacist in a clinical pharmacy position who provides an innovative approach to pharmaceut­ical care, has made outstandin­g contributi­ons to clinical pharmacy and serves as a role model for fellow clinicians.

Schnur, who has been with Washington Regional for three years, earned a doctor of pharmacy degree at St. Louis College of Pharmacy and completed a residency in pharmacy practice at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Va. She earned designatio­n as a Board Certified Pharmacoth­erapy Specialist and is a member of the Arkansas Pharmacist­s Associatio­n and the Arkansas Associatio­n of Health-System Pharmacist­s.
