FAYETTEVILLE —
Charlie Burns, 74, of Fayetteville passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at his home. He was born May 28, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kan., to Charlie Crockett and Fay Barnett Burns.
Charlie was a Truck Driver. He worked at Highland Dairy for 42 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Dessie Lee Burns of 38 years; two sisters, Ruby Peoples and Mary Tilley; one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Hope Petryszak.
Survivors include his son, Melvin Andrews and Donna of Springdale; his daughter, Karen Burns of Lincoln; his son, Charles Burns and wife Kathy of Springdale, his son, Perry Davis and wife Brenda of Goshen, his son James Burns and wife Sarah of Springdale, his son, Leslie Andrews of Goshen; his brothers, Jimmy Burns and William Burns; he had 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Burkshed Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

HUNTSVILLE — Mrs.
Goldie Lee Wood, age 100, of Huntsville, Ark., left this life very peacefully, on April 21, 2017, at her home in Meadowview Skilled Nursing Facility. Goldie was known through the years for her sweet smile and spirit. Even when she came to point of not being able to communicate, it was the sweetness within her that spoke to all she came in contact with.
Goldie was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ralph M. Wood, a daughter, Cherilee Bryan and a son, Robert Wood, two sisters, Odessa Gigante and Marie Greaser, and brother, Cleave Williams.
Goldie is survived by one sister, Ruby Gigante from Raton, N.M., her youngest daughter, Viola Ferran and husband, Robert from Los Alamos, N.M., her oldest son, Walter Wood and wife Elaine from Woodbridge, Va., seven grandchildren, Joy (James) Mathias, Justin (Lori) Bryan, Jim (Laura) Bryan, Jerine (Gary) Brown, all of Northwest Arkansas, Rocky (Amy) Ferran from Gunnison, Colo., Scott (Mandy) Ferran from Los Alamos, N.M., and Nolan Wood from Woodbridge, Va., 27 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way, as well as many nieces and nephews and her special family of caregivers at Meadowview.
Visitation and Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers, Ark. Visitation is at the graveside from 3-4 p.m., with a service to immediately follow. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark.

ROGERS — Bobby
Bautts, DDS, 86, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in his hometown of Rogers,
Ark. He was born on Oct. 11, 1930 in Rogers to Ed and Alpha (Duree) Bautts.
Dr. Bautts received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He was a member of the Xi Si Phi fraternity and received an honorary alumnus from the University of Colorado Medical Center, School of Dentistry. He opened his first practice in Durango, Colo., in 1958 and continued his professional success as the Director of Allied Health Programs at the University of Southern Colorado, where he developed and wrote the curriculum for a new dental hygiene program. He also served as a surgical staff member for five Colorado hospitals. He returned to Rogers and worked as a clinical dentist, specializing in endodontics until 2010. Bobby respected his profession and perfected his dental expertise for 52 years. He had a love and passion for providing dental care and those who were fortunate to be his patient or work by his side knew his level of dignity and professionalism.
Bobby married Wanda Louise Hunt in 1950, in Rogers. They were happily married for 67 years. She was the love of his life and his best friend, followed by the love
for his three daughters and grandchildren. He loved the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the great outdoors and horses. He enjoyed carpentry and mentoring of dental professionals as an educator and a colleague.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Alpha, and his siblings Betty Jean (his twin) and Don Ed (older brother).
Bobby is survived by his wife Wanda of Rogers, Ark.; his daughters Teresa and Michael Robinson of Bentonville, Ark.; Jackie Bautts Sanders of Gilberts, Ill.; and Holly and Quentin Kidd of Newport News, Va.; his grandchildren Jennifer Robinson, Rebecca Robinson and Brandon Dougherty; great-grandchildren Jared Dougherty, Taylor Cassat and Reagan Cassat.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 1 p.m.

Samuel Walker, 23, of Rogers died Friday, April 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born Nov. 28, 1993 in Gravette, the son of Don and Julie Hosey Walker.
He graduated from Rogers High School with the Class of 2012. He enjoyed bowling, sportscars, and playing video games. He was a lifelong resident of Rogers. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers.
He was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents; Clyde and Florine Hosey, paternal grandfather; Ernest Walker, and three aunts; Carol, Rosemary, Ava.
Cody is survived by: his parents; Don and Julie Walker, of Rogers, one sister; Emily Walker, of Rogers, one uncle; Larry Walker, of Blytheville, one aunt; Margaret Mason and her husband Mac, of Alabama, paternal grandmother; Virple Walker, of Blytheville, and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be: Friday from 9-10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rogers, located on Pleasant Grove Road. The Funeral Service follow at 10 a.m. with Pastor Wes George officiating. Interment will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens located in Rogers.

CAMERON, Okla. —
Russell Don Kelly, 85, of Cameron, Okla., passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, in Fort Smith. He was a retired Missionary Baptist pastor, with his last pastorate of 23 years being at Sycamore Missionary Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He was a Korean War veteran and past member and president of the Fayetteville Exchange Club. He was active in senior citizen activities in and around his Oklahoma residence. He loved people and expressed friendship
and respect to all he met. He was born at Sandtown, Ark., on Aug. 5, 1931, to the late James Reed Kelly and Bonnie Seymour Kelly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bobbie Jean Wilkerson Kelly, and by two brothers, Paul Kelly and Gene Kelly, and a sister, Mary Ellen Milligan.
He is survived by his three children, Carol Jo Gales and her husband, Rick Gales, of Fayetteville, Barbara Gayle Johns and her husband, Thomas Johns, of Cabot, and Robert Don Kelly and his wife, Peggy Kelly, of Ft. Smith, and by grandchildren, Karen Coltharp, Scott Pinkson, Beth Albin, Jeffery Reynolds, Kristin Stark, Rebekah Stout, Erin Taylor and Laura Kelly and 22 great-grandchildren and by his spouse, Charlene Dunn Kelly, of the home and her children, Paul Dunn and his wife, Nanci, of Cameron, Nancy Ahlert of Ft. Smith, Cindy Baker and her husband Jim of Broken Arrow, and Charley Dunn and his wife, Lisa, of Crane, Indiana, and 14 step-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Living Faith Baptist Church, 12515 AR-253, Ft. Smith, Ark., under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Visitation will occur following the service. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. on the same day in the Mt. Comfort Cemetery, West Mt. Comfort Road, Fayetteville, Ark.
Thomas Johns, Rick Gales, Jeffery Reynolds, Tyler Hooper, Corey Hooper and Scott Pinkston will serve as Pallbearers.
