Open court session recommends district judge

I read with interest the recent news article about Rogers District Judge Chris Griffin, who is conducting open court on Mondays. These open sessions save time and money for the general public, the court staff, the police and are service oriented. Furthermore, Griffin will begin holding a once-a-month night court on June 28.

This may sound like it’s written by the judge’s mother, but I’m not related. I just think this is the type of judge who deserves to be elected and re-elected. SONJA BURKETT Bella Vista
