28 hurt in Lit­tle Rock shoot­ing

Sixth St. At a news con­fer­ence Satur­day af­ter­noon at City Hall, Lit­tle Rock Po­lice Chief Kenton Buck­ner (lower photo, right) said two off-duty of­fi­cers work­ing as se­cu­rity guards out­side the club ended their shift 30 min­utes be­fore the shoot­ing but re­port­edly had turned away a man openly car­ry­ing a gun in the en­tourage of the Mem­phis rap­per who was per­form­ing Fri­day night. Po­lice be­lieve the man later en­tered the club from a sep­a­rate en­trance.
