Behavior classroom criteria
Here are some of the criteria for a Bentonville student to be referred to one of its behavior classrooms:
■ A “functional behavior assessment” has been made on the student and a functional behavior plan has been implemented
■ Student’s behavior substantially limits the student’s ability to learn
■ Student’s behavior has a substantial effect on the learning environment
■ School is working with district behavior therapist on the student
■ Student’s academic abilities are within grade level norms
■ A parent-teacher conference has been held to discuss student’s behavior.
